See who is knocking at the door? Its 2010. Two-O-Ten or Twenty-Ten. A new year is about to come. Once again, new resolutions (or the same old resolutions), new determinations, new aspirations, new expectations and not to forget Celebrations. Cheers!
Just a few hours. But the festive mood has already begun.
I was just recalling last night a few things that happened with me the passing year. This year has been important to me a lot, in fact I will say the most important year of my life so far. I got married. And the whole life changed. But I will discuss the changes after marriage sometimes later. I was just recalling the incidents that happened with me. Some say that what you do on the first day of year, the same (or similar) happens with you all the year. A nice way to say Do something good and forget worries. On 1st Jan 09, I was travelling :) and to some extents the saying came true. For the next four months I travelled what I normally used to travel in a year. Hmmmmmmm.
The other thing happened for the first time with me. I went out of country. It was great. A nice experience. Then became uncle of sweet kids. Although my nephew was born in the last week of December (2008), but it can be thought to be a memory of this year. In fact the first celebration of this year started with his ceremony only. It was later followed by arrival of twin cherubs in family--Riddhi and Siddhi. A lot of happiness piggied by bags full of responsibilities. Then marriages of bosom friends. Uhhh!
Some bad news also creeped silently. Demise of younger cousin. Alas!
Now when the clock is ticking, and wind tickling, we all set to bid good bye to 2009. Come 2010 with new rays of happiness. Wishing prosperity to everyone. Cheers!
